Our Program

As a parent, you have unique insights into your child and are an integral part of their everyday experience. Speech Therapists have extensive education in communication development, assessing areas of difficulty and specific techniques to encourage your child to the next milestone. Together, we can work as a team to support your child in reaching his/her fullest potential.

Early Intervention

Early identification of speech-language delays in children provides the opportunity for intervention to foster improvement of overall communication skills. This strengthens the foundation for appropriate social interactions, learning, literacy and school-readiness. According to research, learning and development are at their highest during preschool years. Engaging in intervention during this critical time of growth can shift a child's future trajectory toward optimal success.

Meet the Therapist

In my years of working with young children and their families, I noticed that there were some very specific circumstances which would create a challenge for a significant number of families when they attempted to connect with speech therapy services. I created Project Small Talk to assist in meeting the needs of these families while simultaneously empowering parents in an active role in their child's intervention. Our program incorporates the key research-based components for successful communication intervention while considering the financial and logistical needs that often prohibit children and their families from accessing needed support. Project Small Talk aims to bridge access to early communication intervention within our community by providing a meaningful, effective, manageable and affordable option.
